Calibration is an operation that, under specified conditions establishes a relation between indication of a measuring instrument and the quantity value realized by means of a measurement standard.

The purpose of a calibration is to ensure reliable measurement results. The calibration order is determined by an organization itself based on internal requirements.

Metrosert provides calibration services for more than 200 types of measuring instruments: volume, mass, force, torque, dimensional quantities, pressure, temperature, heat energy, time, frequency, electrical quantities and flow meters.

The reliability of calibration results is guaranteed by the shortest traceability chain in Estonia to international measurement standards.

Calibration services of Metrosert are confirmed by an accriditation certificate issued by EAK.



In addition to calibration, Metrosert offers conformity assessment of measuring instruments to relevant requirements established by normative documents.

The conformity assessment result is presented instead of or together with calibration results and the measurement uncertainty.

The requirements for conformity assessment can originate from an international standard, instrument specification, customer needs and so on.
